Now many are seeking to settle into their existing lifestyles while aiming for the future. We are witnessing a migration toward stability and predictability. Universal design concepts such as single-level living is fast becoming one of the most popular demands in building or buying a home. People are also choosing quality products that will last the life of the home and have a high level of performance. People are also considering convenience when choosing energy efficiency for a new home. They aren't so much interested in "green building" as they are in the convenience of being comfortable in every room while paying vastly reduced utility bills.

One of our newest EarthCraft homes (built in Nokesville, Prince William County), was scored to the GOLD level, and is a live-in model serving as Northern Virginia's Universal Design Idea House for those who are interested in livable homes, visitablity, ADA, and aging-in-place. Our most recent EarthCraft home, also located in Nokesville (Prince William County), scored to the SILVER level and features radiant floor heating, geothermal technology, custom cabinetry, natural and non-VOC finishes, foam insulation, advanced framing, and lifetime sustainability.
